Servant Ministries
Servanthood Sunday 2010 Slideshow Each year on the last Sunday of February, Cross of Life holds its annual Servanthood Sunday work day. We meet at church for a sending service, travel out to our partners throughout the community, then gather again at church for fellowship and a meal.
If you click on the link below, you can view our Flickr slideshow and see some of the workers who donated their time and effort into making Servanthood 2010 a success!

Servant Ministries at Cross of Life
What is Servant Ministry?
- It is the care and advocacy for the weak, the hated, the poor and the forgotten.
- It is the ministry of reconciliation that Christ entrusted to us.
Servant ministry begins within the conscience of a congregation.....causing it to be a safe and forgiving place for all who seek refuge inside its walls. The ministry then moves beyond the walls to a neighborhood, community and world in need of healing.
More than any committee, this one must be in the business of turning believers into disciples.
