With every encounter, if we could look out at the world not only from our own eyes, but from all eyes, our hearts would be transformed as we take this journey.
The devotional booklet, Love that Beckons, is available in the Fellowship Hall. These daily devotions follow this theme to enrich your Lenten experience.

Lenten Worship Helpers Schedule
We are looking for volunteers to help in services during Lent. We need greeters, acolytes, ushers, readers, worship assistants, and worship coordinators. Even if you've never done it before, this would be a great time to try it out because services are very casual! If you’d be willing to help, please contact Cindy Boyd.

Lent Soup Suppers
Wednesday, February 24th, will be our first Soup Supper of the 2010 Lenten Season. Confirmation students and Adult Class members are welcome to come at 5:30 pm. Soup for everyone is served 6:00-7:00 pm. Below, you will find the schedule of dates, hosts, soup makers, and what soup will be served. Thanks to all who have volunteered to "host" a soup supper- your duties include serving soup, filling bread and cracker baskets, setting out desserts, and cleaning up (loading and starting dishwashers) after the supper. It's pretty casual!

Lent School on Wednesdays!
SOMETHING SPECIAL IS BEING PLANNED FOR PRESCHOOLERS THROUGH 2nd GRADERS!
During Lent we take a great story from children’s literature and match it with a Bible story add fun activities and lots of Cross of Life kids to get a winning combination we call Lent School. Each Wednesday in the season of Lent, this special learning opportunity is offered for young learners (Students enrolled in Preschool Sunday School - Grade 2). On Feb. 24-March 3-10-17-24 (the five Wednesdays of Lent) a class just for kids will be held in upstairs in the ART ROOM during the 7:00 p.m. worship time.
It gets better… Cross of Life is serving a soup supper each week before Lent School! Join in the great fellowship of this evening.
PARENT LEADERS ARE NEEDED. The lesson and activities are all planned.
