Seder
Service on Thursday of Holy Week We will gather in the Fellowship
Hall on Thursday April 1, Maundy Thursday, at 7 PM for a Seder meal and communion service.
Seder is the name for the Passover meal like the one Jesus and his disciples
ate in the upper room. This is not a “get filled-up” sort of meal, so
plan to eat dinner before you come! All the foods are symbolic in nature and
will be sampled in small quantities as a part of the service. It is a meal
filled with meaning, especially as we combine it with communion. All ages
are welcome. To help us plan, we could use an advance count. Please sign up in the Fellowship Hall if
you plan to attend.
Easter
Saturday Potluck & Easter Sunday Continental Breakfast Brunch On Easter Saturday, (April 3), ham
sandwiches and beverages are provided. Please bring a salad, carb or
dessert to share. On Easter Sunday (April 4), a continental
breakfast potluck is served between the services, from 9:30 -10:30
AM. Please bring a sweet item (bagels, donuts, bars, cookies, kringle,
etc.) or fruit to share. We could still use a little help on
Saturday evening or Easter morning…say 30 minutes before the first
service. Sign up on the Adult
Programs/Fellowship board or volunteer to either Pastor.
