Confirmation Dinners
Our confirmation dinners are a fun way to get ready for confirmation classes - you get to eat, play games, and enjoy some fellowship prior class.

Dinners run 5:20 - 6:00 pm.  This Year’s In-Class Offering is cash or non-perishables for the Waukesha Food Pantry for its 30th Anniversary.

Click on the blue article title above to see the dates and planned menu.

2008 Servant Opportunities for Confirmation Students

SERVANT OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONFIRMATION STUDENTS

An expectation of Confirmation students during our 2-year program is to become involved in opportunities to serve others.  Listed here are many suggestions to get involved. The minimum expectation is 2 activities in the fall, and 2 activities in the spring. One activity should be outside Cross of Life (Waukesha Food Pantry, Luther Manor, etc.).  Many students go WAY beyond the minimum, and that is encouraged.  This list is only a beginning.  If you have an idea or are already involved in some other service activity check with John Horner-Ibler, Sherrie Lorbeck, or Jo Ann Tomm for credit.  Permission slips will be handed out where needed as the events happen.

Click on the blue-colored title of this article to check out Confirmation servant opportunities!

Confirmation Students with their Luther Manor Buddies
One of the servanthood choices for our confirmation students is "Bridging Generations", where they are paired up with a 'buddy' from Luther Manor.  Here are a couple of our students and their buddies at their end-of-(confirmation) year party.
