Sew Comfy
This group is for sewers AND non-sewers who would like to make the life of a cancer patient, Alzheimer’s residents and foster babies just a little more comfortable. We sew:
- Special “PM Pillows” for post-mastectomy patients.
- Colorful pillowcases for children to use during their hospital stays.
- Small fleece “blankies” for babies.
- Baby quilts.
If you can’t sew, you can help by cutting out fabric or stuffing pillows. You can touch many lives with a very small portion of your time, and enjoy the fellowship of a very comfy small group! We will be meeting on the first Tuesday and third Monday of each month.
Contact is Tami Miller (798-0832).
We are kicking off our fall schedule on Tuesday, September 7th, from 6:30-8:00 pm in the COL Art Room (#106). Sew Comfy welcomes you to join us if you like to sew at home, handstitch items at church OR home, or just want to be a part of a fun and busy group!
